How aware are you of your mood on a daily basis?
Sometimes I wake up in the morning and don’t want to complete the tasks that I should be doing. Day to day life can be overwhelming especially with all the jobs and responsibilities we have. Some of those tasks include working, sometimes they include being a wife and mom. Some days I just want to crawl back into my warm bed and dream of a magical place where I have all the power. Reality is, that doesn’t get to happen! So how can we drag ourself out of bed and start the day with a smile and accomplish all the day to day tasks that we have created for ourselves? I Try and start the day with self awareness! I talk positive and have a plan for my day. Also I try to be flexible since life can throw things at me that are out of my control. Being aware of things I need to accomplish and the best ways to go about them can start us on the right path.
Sometimes I meditate. Meditation even if it’s just five minutes in the morning while drinking your coffee or tea can go along way to starting the day off. Clearing your mind and just being in the moment can change your mood right from the start! It’s a great tool to help your self awareness.

How aware are you of your interactions with others? Do you always react in a positive way? When others are in a bad mood are you able to let that roll of your shoulders or does their mood often affect you?
I too often wear my emotions on my sleeve. I also consider myself an empath, there by picking up on others emotions negative or positive. I often hate, that i allow the company that I keep to take up space in my brain. That I allow them to dictate what kind of day I’m going to have. So how can we keep things on a positive note?
I think often our mindset becomes guilty of creating a mood or atmosphere that pushes away positivity? Becoming aware of that fact can help you to reset. Having self awareness and knowing your triggers. Allowing your company to feel the way they feel, and letting them wade through those emotions by talking about them if they are having a bad day can also help. Acknowledgement is key here. Don’t take things personal.
Everyone needs positivity in their lives and it starts inside each one of us. Use the tools that are already at hand and give yourself the power to have a wonderful day! Be self aware!
