Looking for a quick craft project to do on a cold winter day?
Draft dodgers are the answer!
Do you have scrap material, old socks that you can’t find the match to, or even that old pair of thick stockings that you will never wear again?
Make these wonderful sock tubes that help keep that cold winter air out!
We all love old houses but hate the cold air that inevitably seeps in through those now shrunken old wooden windows and doors!
This will help keep the warmth in and the cold out! I mean who doesn’t have old socks or stockings lying in a basket or on top of the washer. The mate of which we may never find!
Fill your stocking or sock with beans, rice lentils, unpopped popcorn etc! Then tie a knot in the other end or sew it shut! Place in front of a drafty door or window and boom you have blocked out the air!

This is a great project to get the kids involved and you will finally be rid of those single socks or scrap material!
Just measure your window or door and get going!
Have fun!!
