Love yourself!

Enjoy life! Don’t let it get you down!

I find it crazy as you age how things you loved when you were younger get put aside. How dreams and passions get let go! So many aspirations and such big imaginations fill our heads at young ages. As we mature we find ourselves trying things and when they don’t work maybe we quit trying?

Maybe some of us move on to other things. Maybe life happens and we start college or families. Maybe we have to work and go to school and our hobbies and interests get put aside.

I’m here to say, that the little girl or boy in you, are still passionate about learning! I think most of us just feel like we are too busy or have enough on our plate to try new things or even learn new things!

It’s important for our well being to have some hobbies outside of the home! It’s also important for us to have hobbies outside of our family.

Life always has its ups and downs. It’s forks in the roads it’s hills and valleys. What remains constant is our ability to learn and adapt. The yearning for knowledge and acceptance. To know that we are of value to ourselves and each other!

What better way to center ourselves than to explore our passions. To try new things. To explore our creativity and live a full life.

These things we love to do, can bring us closer to our family and closer to our purpose. Teaching those talents we picked up over the years. Sharing our knowledge of cooking or gardening is an asset.

Let’s not forget how important these things may become when we become empty nesters or heaven forbid find ourselves alone.

As we age we loose more than our courage. We loose our nerve! We spend most of our lives taking care of others and we somehow get lost in the after effect.

Do something for yourself at least once a month. Get out and enjoy the world! Try new restaurants make new friends go to craft fairs or bingo! Take that photography class you always wanted to do! Whatever you do don’t bury yourself worth in always taking care of others!

We are much happier and healthier when we love ourselves! Take care of you!

Dreams and aspirations have no expiration date!!
