Summer
Summer days, sunny and dry.
Kids playing makes me sigh.
Fireflies and June bugs
dancing high.
Sunflowers, a proud rest stop for bees to lie.
Lakes and rivers to cool off you know why!
Lemonade and mojitos for me and my guy.
Nights and weekends seem to just fly by.
Homemade vanilla ice cream with peaches and strawberries oh my!
Where did my summer go, I may cry.
